Quick catch-up

Last Saturday we were finally graced with the sun's presence! it almost reached 60. So we decided to go to Cody's school and let the kids play while Rob and I did some tresure hunting. Rob got a metal detector about a year ago. Last month, on a whim, he got one for myself. We went a few times last fall but didn't find much. At Cody's school we hit the jackpot (for our first time out this year anyway). For the first time out with my detector this is what I found...

and this is what Rob found....This is what it looked like after we cleaned it all up and this is what it looked like while we were cleaning our treasures...We got some pretty cool reactions when we mixed salt, baking soda, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. This part was almost as fun as finding the treasures!

Then on Sunday we celebrated my hubby's 36th birthday. Rob said he had a great day, he got to cuddle his kids, watch conference and eat chocolate cake. He also made bread in between sessions. He makes some really yummy bread. Spencer felt that he had to watch it and make sure that it turned out just right. He loves his daddy's bread too.

Then today Rob got the rest of his birthday presents and we went to Golden Corral for his birthday dinner.
